When to Use:
When fish show symptoms of bacterial infections such as ulcers, split fins, fin rot, mouth rot, red blotches, missing scales or clamped fins. Bacterad can be used to treat flukes (trematodes) in the presence of sensitive species such as sturgeon, orfe and rudd, and is safe to use if Pond Salt Plus is present is the water at ‘General Tonic’ level.
DO:
Shake bottle well.
Mix the correct dose in a clean bucket of pond water, and then pour evenly around the pond.
Switch off UV for 10 days.
Wait 10 days before repeating treatment or applying a different treatment.
Allow plenty of time to observe the fish and take action in the unlikely event of a reaction.
CAUTION:
Do not use when the water temperature is above 30’C
Do not use hot, humid, thundery weather.
Do not mix medications.
Dose:
10 ml → 40 gallons (182 litres)

INGREDIENTS:
Acriflavine 80mg/100ml
Aminoacridine HCI 80mg/100ml
Formaldehyde 2260mg/100ml
DANGER:
May cause an allergic skin reaction. Suspected of causing genetic defects. May cause cancer. Do not handle until all safety precautions have been read and understood. Avoid breathing vapours. IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of water. Keep out of reach of children. For animal treatment only. For the treatment of all kinds of ornamental fish in closed water systems only. Stone in a cool, dry place. Use within 6 months of opening. Dilute unused product with plenty of water and dispose of on land not used for growing crops. Do not mix with other medicines.
